Adobe Youth Voices Creative Educator Awards - Deadline Extended to September 18th

This is a message from Lisa Jobson from Adobe Youth Voices and we are posting it as a reminder to all our Adobe Youth Voice educators in South Africa. The Adobe Youth Voices Creative Educator Award application deadline has been extended to September 18th. Educators selected for this Award will receive a one year Creative Cloud license (up to 25 devices) to help advance your youth media program.
 
All active Adobe Youth Voices educator in iEARN are encouraged to take a few minutes to review the application process and consider applying!  

To apply, AYV is asking educators to submit a short video clip (approximately 1 minute in length) and complete basic information about your involvement in Adobe Youth Voices.  More information is below, and you can access the application here:

More about the Adobe Youth Voices Creative Educator Awards Program
For nearly a decade, the AYV program has brought educators together to teach digital media making skills to more than 250,000 youth in 60 countries. The mission of the program has been realized through your commitment, and as a result, thousands of youth have learned how to tell powerful stories of personal and social change through digital media.
To acknowledge your incredible commitment and to promote advanced youth media making, Adobe has announced an Adobe Youth Voices Creative Educator Award.

Up to 100 AYV Creative Educator Awards are available and selected educators will  receive a Creative Cloud lab donation for one year (up to 25 devices).  Educators who have been trained and participated in a full cycle of the Adobe Youth Voices program are eligible to apply.  Awards will be selected based on the following criteria:
  • Outstanding practice in youth development and media making
  • Self sufficiency to lead create with purpose youth media programming
  • Capacity and ability to run Adobe’s Creative Cloud software
As part of the application, educators will be asked to complete a short video clip using Adobe Voice, Adobe Premiere Clip, or other available video/storytelling software addressing the following prompts:
  • How would a Creative Cloud lab donation advance your work leading youth media programming?
  • Share what “Create with Purpose” looks like from your experience leading AYV programming.
The Adobe Foundation will select qualified educators from across the AYV network that meet the requirements and submit a complete and thoughtful application. Please take the time to review the application carefully before submitting:
