Our SchoolNet ICT in the Classroom got off to a great start in Kloof, KwaZulu-Natal today with 550 participants.
Shafika Isaacs from the DBE officially opened the conference and welcomed the guest speakers; Phil Mnisi from the DBE delivered the opening address on behalf of the Deputy Minister of Basic Education, Enver Surty; and Jonathan Manning, Headmaster at St Mary's DSG welcomed the guests.

Our Keynote speaker for today was Stuart Ball (@innovativeteach ) from Microsoft in the UK who inspired the delegates in many different ways and showed how the versatile Microsoft application PowerPoint can be used in many different ways OTHER than as a presentation tool.
