On Thursday afternoon 25th June we held a webinar entitled, ‘Alice – how you can use it in the classroom’. Our speaker was Claire Dean Head of ICT at Stirling Primary School, East London

Background to the webinar
Claire is an expert on using Alice in the classroom. Alice is a free, innovative 3-D interactive animation environment (suitable for learners who are ten years old or older) that makes it easy to create an animation for telling a story, playing an interactive game, or a video to share on the web.

The webinar description
Claire says, “Alice 3 is an innovative 3D programming environment that makes it easy to create an animation for telling a story.Alice 3 is a freely available teaching tool designed to be a student's first exposure to object-oriented programming, learning fundamental programming concepts. Alice is suitable for learners who are 10 years old and older.”
